I just assumed this was DVD audio and it's not. It's a video. I just want the music! :) Totally my fault. Now I'll order the 'CD'. Just writting this so that someone else doesn't do what I did.

I really am enjoying the music of this guy. It's got enough southern rock sound to keep my toe a tappin'

With his laidback character, full of soul and groove! Frankenreiter shows how good music is best play'd amongst friends and good fellas.
This dvd is an extraordinary e.g.c and reminder of what joy music can bring. Only remarks is the video quality but never the less this is a music dvd and not a hollywood production!

So i can highly recommend buying this item. Sit back listen and enjoy i know i did.

I guess that people will not agree with what I have to say, but I have to admit that I found this DVD terribly average. Although Donavon plays his classic hits, gets right into it with the crowd and has a fantastic documentary showing the build up to his show, I cant help but feel it was just... well... good?

Nothing really stood out for me. It just looked like he got support off a big band and played around with a few songs to extend them etc for crowds sake but nothing really grabbed me, and ive seen him live before and he's totally rocked it.

I dunno, I love the acoustic set etc but this dvd didn't make the impression on me that it did with others on here. Get it if you are a die hard fan, otherwise expect to be a bit disappointed with its average overall feel.

Donovan is like a fine wine, getting better as he ages. This is a must have for any Donovan fan. I will probably wear it out, if you can do that to a DVD.

This is one hot video that any lover of his music should have in their collection. The intimate setting of the Abbey Sessions studio is blow your mind relaxing and personal. I would have loved to have been at this show, but the vidoe is the next best thing and I am so happy that I have it in my collection.

A friend of mine turned me on to Donovan F. a year or so ago . I'm glad I had patience to listen to his music more than once . At first I just thought it was sort of soft spoken & funky , but the more I listened , the more I came to appreciate his music . Now , He's one of my very favorites !!!! Fun show at Abbey Road !!

The intimate setting of the Abbey Sessions studio is amazing, it blows your mind, totaly relaxing and personal. You get to know the man behind the music. Seing his interaction with his son and his pation for life and music makes you appreciate him that much more. He envites you in to his world and makes you part of his family. I would have loooooooved to have been at this show, but this vidoe is the next best thing. I play it everytime i need a Donavon Fix! :)
