The late nightclub comedian Jack E. Leonard narrates this compilation film, which features scenes from Abbott and Costello's films from UNIVERSAL STUDIOS. Leonard adds his brand of humor to this film, as he explains the team's uprising to star status. The film features Bud ann Lou's BEST routines. Some of which are: (1) THE DRILL ROUTINE and THE DICE GAME from "BUCK PRIVATES." (2) BAGEL STREET from "IN SOCIETY". (3) WHO'S ON FIRST from "THE NAUGHTY NINETIES". GREAT FUN for Abbott and Costello fans.

Plot Summary:

"THE WORLD OF ABBOTT AND COSTELLO" is a great tribute to the famous comedy team. It is a compilation film that features clips and scenes from all the team's Universal films. Jack E. Leonard does a superb job of narrating the fictional story of how Abbott and Costello got into show business and became stars. The movie opens with a scene from "ABBOTT AND COSTELLO GO TO MARS" and ends with the team performing "WHO'S ON FIRST" from "THE NAUGHTY NINETIES". I recommend this film for anyone's Abbott and Costello film library.
