2.0 out of 5 stars HO! HO! HUH?, October 7, 2006
This review is from: Abby's Christmas: At the Carolina Diner (Harlequin Superromance No. 1245) (Mass Market Paperback)
This book was too disjointed to follow the plot. Noah Blake has returned to his hometown after 15 years and 2 in prison for manslaughter. All the former popular gang in high school take him under their wings, giving him a job in a security business, a place to stay, etc. The rest of the townspeople make scathing remarks to him and about him. The heroine has been in love with him since high school and practically throws herself at him. The love scene is so fast it isn't worth it. He rides a Harley throughout the book (even in the last scene leaving their wedding in a snowfall! Anyone ever try to ride a motorcycle in the snow??) Not an especially good read, in my opinion.
