5.0 out of 5 stars One of the Best books to read on how to run a non-profit organization, November 13, 2010
This review is from: Abdul Sattar Edhi, an autobiography: A mirror to the blind (Paperback)
Edhi's biography is humble just like the man himself but as you dwell into the ways he ran his non-profit organization from a single clinic in Karachi and grew it to the largest welfare organization with ambulance fleet of helicopters as well as emergency mini-vans, one gets amazed how well this man performed. He continues to shun the limelight, prefering the humility of a sufi saint. His book is my favorite book and an inspiration for the making of the greatest leadership types: humble leaders! His organization methods seems to have come from an mba of Harvard business school yet he never went to school past third grade! Amazing book and an excellent read!
