Great fit and super absorbent.

I have used at least 5 different diaper/adult brief brands and these are definitely the best diapers I have ever used.

We have been very impressed with the amount the diaper holds overnight.

I usually wear the plastic-covered M4s at night but I thought I'd try these for a change (pun intended) because I thought they might be cooler and more discrete. (I tend to get real sweaty in the plastic backed diapers.) Their capacity for absorbing is fantastic. I'd say as good as the plastic M4s. I haven't leaked yet, not even a drop. And I can also wear them during the day without that tell-tale "crinkle." BUT...the plastic backed ones are just so much better made to fit comfortably because they have the elastic-style waist that really hugs you so you don't have that "back-gap" area. The gap in the back when I put on the Air Plus is crazy-huge! I wouldn't wear pants like that or someone would see my underwear! But you can't wear a belt with a diaper to close up the gap like you can with jeans. I have to tuck in the top of the diaper so it's not flapping around in the breeze. I'm not sure what Abena was thinking when they made these. They seem more like they're made to fit a square-hipped person than someone with curves. (Like say a woman...) I'm nervous, too, because I read somewhere that Abena is thinking about discontinuing their plastic-backed M4s and just having a cloth-like cover M4. If they do that and the elastic-style waistband goes I might have to switch to a new diaper.

Conclusion: If you like quiet, discrete, unfitted protection then go for it and get the Air Plus. If you prefer confidence and a sure fit, stick with the plastic-backed.

The feel of this Abri-Form X-Plus Air Plus brief was very good, felt like I was wearing a flannel brief. Plus this didn't slide down, even after a wee while... the fit was very nice. The absorbent material didn't thin-out and bunch up on me like many other brands, I thought this was a nice design idea: a brief that actually holds the shape it was meant to! I cannot overstate this point enough, how a brief/diaper holds up after a few hours really matters to people that have to wear them!

This Abri-Form X-Plus Air Plus brief is a nice "heavy duty" diaper. I mean that in a good way, as it will easily absorb massive amounts.

These are slightly-thick (but worth it for protection) - A man may not be able to totally conceal that he is wearing one of these under clothing, if you plan on going out - although a woman, wearing one under a dress or skirt... possibly could get away with it.

Just two minor issues: there are a few inches of "flexible waistband" in the back. This is wonderful, but it seems such a nice brief/diaper could benefit with a frontal waistband also.

Plus, I learned the hard way to fasten the sticky tapes properly THE FIRST TIME. Keep in mind that these briefs DO have very good tapes to begin with. Because the outer covering is cloth-like, while I was "in motion" at times, a tape would pop-off and I would have to refasten. Then I realized - I had only casually fastened the sticky tapes around the waist, like I would with a regular plastic backed brief. That is a no-no with these cloth backed diapers. Firmly pressing the tapes in place the first time I put on a new brief (from now on) and I would be good to go! (No pun intended!)

Still, I gave five stars as these Abena Abri-Form X-Plus Air Plus more than met my comfort and absorbency expectations.

I have been searching for literally almost a year tyring to find the correct fitted and absorbent diaper for my 14yr. old daughter who's disabled. She's very tiny for her age. Her waist is 27" & she weighs about 57lbs. She has CP & seizures alot which causes her to urinate very heavily. I was using the very last size of Pampers for her size 7, which always leaked as she SOAKED them and she'd soil her clothes. I tried Tranquility but the fitting was off & I didn't like the tabs as they tore very easily when trying to remove them. These diapers are PRICEY but so far she has NOT soiled her clothes and it HOLDS her urine through the seizures and overnight as well. They are soft on the front side & are very easy to reseal. My only issue with them are the extra plastic that is near the tabs. They are a bit long as the diapers are a little bigger for her waist but she will grow into them and they are not too loose on her. The extra plastic, I'm guessing is to protect the sides from leakage. They have performed well and I will continue to buy them but I will buy the case of 96 to save some $$$.. I highly recommend them. I really like that I don't have to worry anymore about clothing accidents, etc or accidents when she has seizures. I do check after the seizures and these diapers hold every DROP. Buy these diapers. You will like them. I wish there was some kind of coupon or sale on them from time to time but until then, I will continue to use these until I find some not as pricey or better..which I doubt. Get these diapers you won't be sorry.

These diapers are very comfortable for overnight protection. The cloth-like backing is very soft and not as itchy as the original plastic backing. This diaper holds a lot, and keeps you dry. It is very thick, so it is noticeable under clothing. If used with a booster, this diaper can last overnight and part of the day. I would recommend this to anyone who needs it.
