Not what I expected from Morgana Lefay,

Abberations is very disappointing..period.
Poor production; every song sounds the same; much too thrashy and poor backup vocals...if you cherish songs like Maleficium, Isengard and Madness, do not get this album. I have been a ML fan for many years, but this is a far departure from their original sound. This band is far too creative to be cheapening themselves to do something this unorganized. The best thing is the cover...please go back to your melodic sound. The "Lefay" albums are masterpieces, please stick with that sound.

I have no idea why that first review is giving this cd one star! This is great metal! Great vocals and song writing is killer. Morgana Lefay is very similar to Nevermore's style of metal with agression. Pick this cd up!

Another great album by one of the most under-rated bands ever. I've been a Morgana Lefay or Lefay fan, depending on the era, since Sanctified. Aberrations feels more like Materia than any other ML disk but is bit grittier. Solid from opening to close...this delivers.
