Astonishing. An indispensable user's guide to anyone who seek for the abject concept and its applications particularly on the aesthethics issues, from Bataille to Kristeva.

4.0 out of 5 stars Well...., April 24, 2010
This review is from: Abject Art: Repulsion and Desire in American Art (Isp Papers, No 3) (Paperback)
The essays are a must, seminal stuff, but as an art book it sucks, THERE ARE ALMOST NO PICTURES!!! Check it out of the library xerox it and return it, but do Xerox it and read it, it's super helpful in understanding the abject and get reffered to a lot.
