Why would somebody ever use a cane without an Able Tripod Base? No more finding a place to hang a cane when your not using it. No more having to pick a cane up because it fell over. No more having the cane sink into the sand or ground when outside walking or doing yard work. No more having find a place to put your cane when out to eat - it stands right next to the table.
In short, a cane without an Able Tripod Base is only half a cane and not worth the trouble to use. Quad based canes are heavy and a real pain. The Able Tripod Base is much better and much lighter.

I got this for my elderly father, who is a long time cane user, but who needed a bit more stability. This gives a much wider base to the bottom, without being overly cumbersome. Just enough to help him feel that the cane is more sturdy. The rubber is good quality, and provides some extra traction and grab on most surfaces. Make sure you get the right size for your cane.

I recently bought this product for my mother to attach to her cane. She used t for a family trip we had on the beach.Her being able to walk on the sand and us not having to rent a beach wheelchair was well worth the price. This prevented her cane from sinking in the sand and allowed her to get across the beach with ease. I would highly recommend this product for the extra stability it provides and for the freedom it allows.

Good.
Went on very tight... had to use silicone to get it on (3/4"). Seems like it will be good, altho thankfully haven't had to use it yet. Love that it will stand on it's own.
