Amazon Verified Purchase
As a result of a stroke, I only have use of one hand. This base allows the cane to stand beside me while I use the good hand. It works perfectively. The base comes in four cane diameter sizes. Be sure to order correct size(5/8 and 3/4) are the most common sizes.

Everyone who uses a cane should try this out. it allows you to stand the cane upright byitself. It is especially great while travelling for taking pictures. Just put one foot on the end of the base to hold it upright and have both hands free for camera, etc.
