5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent instructional text. Buy it even if you're not enrolled in a class!, June 14, 2009

This review is from: Abnormal Psychology: The Problem of Maladaptive Behavior (10th Edition) (Hardcover)
As an instructor I have used the Sarason's text in its various incarnations for many years now. I find it excellent, both in terms of how comprehensive it is and also in terms of how accessible it is for my intermediate and advanced students.

While the 11th Edition is the most current, it is also the most expensive. I routinely have my students purchase the earlier editions of a text to save themselves some money. Usually the revisions are minor and something I can cover in class.

Even if you're not taking a class in Abnormal Psychology, you can benefit from reading this text on your own.
