Worth CAREFUL Reading!,
By Edith M. Humphrey (Pittsburgh, PA, US) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Holy Abortion? a Theological Critique of the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice (Paperback)
Clearly the first two Amazon reviewers did not read this book carefully. The book does not champion the pro-choice stand (as applauded by reviewer one and deplored by reviewer two) but exposes the way that the main-line churches have, in a knee-jerk and hegemonic fashion, supported the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice. Because the book is thoughtful and detailed, it requires CAREFUL reading from both pro-lifers and pro-choicers. But it does not straddle the fence: clearly, it is an important step in recovering respect and protection for pre-born children among those who call themselves Christian. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and faithfulness, Ann and Michael
