2.0 out of 5 stars Verry little info about Old World Chameleons, April 7, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: All About Chameleons and Anoles (Hardcover)
Many people mistake the common green anole with Old World chamleons and this book keeps this mistake alive and well. The books main focus is on the captive care of various species of Anoles, common to the Southern US and the Carribean Islands. There is no useful information about the captive care and breeding of Old World Chameleons such as Veiled and Jacksons. If you are keeping anoles (order Iguanid) and related small lizards, this is a good basic read. Otherwise, skip it. Chameleons (order Chamaeleo) require very different care that is simply not addressed by this book.
