4.0 out of 5 stars A pretty good choice, March 10, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: All About Citrus and Subtropical Fruits (Ortho's All about) (Paperback)
Although it didn't have as much about growing citrus in containers as I would have liked, it is still a very informative and well-illustrated book, especially for the price. I also have the one by Sunset Gardening and this one is much better and has more information.

3.0 out of 5 stars Comprehensive Book, July 13, 2009
By
M.F. "Reader" (Burlington, VT USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: All About Citrus and Subtropical Fruits (Ortho's All about) (Paperback)
I got this book looking for information to answer the life long question "Why are my citrus trees not happy?". It wasn't that type of book. Instead it gives a quick review of how to keep them happy and what could be wrong, however, this book is mostly fluf in that area. This book does have lots of pictures of citrus trees/plants. About a third of the book is just pictures of the different citrus plants, varients and native locations. Its a great place to start and a good one for the collection. It is just not what I wanted. - Plus the used prices were cheep enough that buying one didn't set set me back much more than shipping.

2.0 out of 5 stars An Overview, September 24, 2010

Good as an overview only. No in-depth material on citrus. Nice descriptions of the more and more popular tropical fruits.
