5.0 out of 5 stars The Bible of all other coffee books May 14, 1998
Format:Hardcover
The information contained in this book is perhaps the most complet and concise information on the subject. While it was written nearly 75 years ago there is no other work that is more complet. If I could rate it a 12 I would have. A must for any coffee profeciadnoda.

1.0 out of 5 stars Quality is not as good as expected. November 1, 2013
By Frank
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
The actual content of the book is great, and I encourage coffee lovers to download the e-book version.

The e-book does not contain images / pictures. I was quite looking forward to receiving the physical book to see the images.

I was very unimpressed with the quality of this book. It is a poor quality facsimile.

I feel I have wasted my money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good buy cheaper than available in Australia September 5, 2008
Format:Hardcover|Verified Purchase
Bought as a birthday present for my son who is already on the path to becoming an experienced Barista. He was thrilled to get the book and finds the book very informative and is already sharing the knowledge held within this essential manual with fellow baristas. Very fast postage to Australia and much cheaper than I can buy here. The book was wrapped thoughtfully and arrived in A1 condition. Great book would recommend to anyone interested in knowing all about coffee.

1.0 out of 5 stars WHAT A WASTE July 10, 2013
Format:Hardcover|Verified Purchase
All about coffee re-defines the word ALL. The word abridged is more accurate. I have been doing extensive work on coffee for months in preparation for a patent application. I have downloaded 100's of times more information than that book contained. UKER'S original text (the unabridged version) is available on Google at no cost. This book was a waste of my time and money. If I could get my money back I would take it in second.

1.0 out of 5 stars This is a poor reprint January 24, 2014
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Old information, hard to read, I do not recommend this book, in fact for the price it is a rip-off. I wasted my money expecting more current information from a 2009 copyright, not a cheap reprint of public domain info.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not leisure reading material. January 8, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I was expecting a condensed history of coffee, but this book is like an encyclopedia! Don't get this book if you want something to read while waiting. Also, I recommend heading over to Project Gutenberg to get the whole book with all the diagrams and tables properly formatted if you are interest in this book as an historical resource.
