Canon DSLRs make ALL the decisions for you in full-auto and scene modes (sports, night portrait, etc.). Use P(rogram), A(perture pirority), T(ime or shutter priority) or M(anual) modes to get control over ISO and other settings.

It goes to 12800. It's practically night vision. So I don't understand your question.
