Delve deeply into the conspiracy theories of the Internet by reading this book! For anyone that has even as much as questioned the version of history that they have been told, this book should serve as a great introduction into the vast amount of information available online. What was truly valuable about this book was the broad range of topics covered, from the JFK assassination to the Roswell UFO crash. The presentation of both the theories and factual information known about such cases are presented and only cause the reader to want to know more. This book should be seen as doorway into the truly expansive community that Above Top Secret represents. Do not pass this up if you've ever bother to stop and think to yourself, is there more to this than what I've been told?

Mr. Marrs does not disappoint. These are some of the biggest conspiracy topics of the day, that are well defined, well documented, that WILL make you think more deeply about our current lives. If you read this book first before any other of Mr. Marrs' work, it's a great introduction. The only question remains, what next? You know Mr. Marrs, I've heard you speak of NASA using Astrology for space launches, so perhaps it would be good to see a book on Astrology, Numerology, and the Tarot, in one well researched volume showing how they might have impacted us yesterday, today, and in the future. I do believe that they all interconnect anyway. How about it? I look forward to your future works~!

Having read the book and having the pleasure with my partner, Johnny Anonymous with the ATS MIX Show, interview Jim Marrs.... I can tell you that this is a MUST READ for those that want answers to the questions that have always nagged you and made the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. There are numerous conspiracies in the world and this book is an excellent FIRST STEP for those who have always wanted an INSIDERS VIEW.

Jim Marrs is an interesting writer, and I have enjoyed his other books. This one is billed as an introduction to online discussions, and that's exactly what it is. The book is a summary of several conspiracy topics discussed on the internet (in general, and specifically on the Above Top Secret forums). It covers a wide range of topics, and so it reads more like a brief summary of conspiracy theories, rather than an in-depth treatment.

Several reviewers have noted that the chapters are very short and leave you wanting more. That would be fine, but honestly I felt like lots of space was wasted. For example, every chapter is preceeded by a blank blue page, a title page, and then a terse "who, what, where, when" dossier page. Many of these are also preceeded by a blank page with nothing but a small a blue briefcase. Since there are 20 chapters, that's at least 60 to 75 essentially blank pages - in a 284 page book!!! Even within chapters, too much space is taken up by fairly uninformative quotes from anonymous ATS readers in extra-large font. For example: "I for one think the photos are hoaxes, but I will leave it up to the experts to figure that out." -ATS Member Comment (that's a real one, blown up in a box and taking up a chunk of space in the middle of p. 186).

I am a fan of Jim Marrs. And this book covers a lot of interesting topics. If you're looking for an introduction and summary of conspiracy discussions on the internet then I bet you'll be happy with this one. If you're looking for more in-depth information beyond what you could find yourself online, then you'll probably be disappointed with some aspects of this book.

another well thought out, excellent book. this is a really easy and informative book. the book is divided up into various chapters on various topics such as 911, roswell, kennedy assassination, etc. all the chapters are independent of each other, so you don't have to read the book cover to cover. you can skip around and read what interests you, which hopefully will be the whole book. at the beginning of each chapter has a "who, what, where, when and why" synapsis which tells you what to look for in it. the chapters are short, 8 pages or so. all and all, another excellent book by jim. reading this will definately broaden your horizons on the matter of conspiracy. enjoy!

Jim Marrs is a pretty level-headed investigator who is willing to go after hidden truths. In this book, however, he pretty much surveys current popular topics being discussed on the AboveTopSecret.com website. Each chapter is about 7 pages or so, just hitting the highlights of the topic, unlike most of Marrs' books, which dig pretty deep into a single topic. In a way, this is a promotion for the website, where you might find other, or more current info on each topic. However, the author is pretty good at adding in particular truths that he personally has dug up on several of the topics, and that adds noticeably to the value of the book. He has researched some of the topics extensively, and so he is in a good position to give an overview. Being a recent book helps, since some of the topics (e.g. UFO stuff) have much more data available now than in the '90's, for example. In all, solid coverage of quite a few important topics to get you started if you did not know about some of these (and I did not, for example). For those out there who realize that American mainstream media are thoroughly controlled, and that the US government is very secretive about certain topics, this gives an overview of some important issues. I personally prefer to be informed, rather than bamboozled.
