My son is 19 months old and loves this table. He eats at it (and makes us sit down with him as well... yes, it holds grown ups easily (!), my husband weighs 180). It's easy to clean, and functions as a regular table which makes my son feel like a big boy! And it's a wonderful lego/ duplo table. We also purchased a lego/ duplo building block set that works perfectly with the table. The fact that it has a lid that makes it a regular table makes this the perfect table for any child. I did a lot of research before purchasing this one and I believe that this one exceeds any other one by far; in price, in usage. It's easy to put together, and once my son outgrows it, it will be very easy to take it apart again as well.
The only thing that you might like to know is that since it's plastic it's very light, so when my son tries to sit down (and since we have wood floors) the chair will easily slide away or get knocked over. He's figured that out already though so now he comes and gets us to hold the chair while he sits down :) Everyone that has seen his table so far has commented on how great they think it is.

I orderd this from Market place, amazon doesn't carry it directly. It never arrived finally when I did get my refund back I went to Toyrus and bought it from there for only thirty nine dollars. Chairs are made small height wise, it is just right size for toddler not preschooler. My age four son sits on it and his back it higher than the back support of the chair. Chair is just the right size for my 16 months age daughter except that chair is very light weight. So chair does fall over if she try to sit on it. Table is perfect size for my age four son. He build his regular size legos on it, he use this table a lot. Also when he want to colors on his book we put back the table cover so it turn in to a regular activity table. he put his color books, puzzles and playdoo, moon sand all activty items on it for easy play. He does all his activites on it. He spends more time playing with Legos now than he ever did before. He does sit on the chair still. (it just looks too small for him). Buy it from Toyrus so you can save money and receive your paid product. Mine never arrived when I orderd from amazon market place. I do think this is the best table for the money out there for Lego.

This is a lower quality set. The legs of the table and chairs are very lightweight, resulting in the chairs being somewhat top-heavy. My kids knock them over very easily. I'm always a little afraid that someone is going to fall backwards and get hurt while sitting in them. One good aspect of the chairs is that they are much lower to the ground than some of the other kid's table sets I've seen. My 16 mos old can sit in them comfortably.
There is some question with some of the other reviewers about whether the Legos fit on this surface or not. They do, but only the square and rectangular blocks fit. We have two Lego Duplo sets and several of the pieces do not fit to this table (the window, tree stump and the cat). The blocks, do however, have a tendency to pop off when you are attaching them side-by-side. The Duplo blocks are compatable, yes, but do they fit well? No, the fit is not perfect by any means. My son (3 yrs) does play with this table, but he is at an age where he is constantly categorizing everything and seems to only want to build yellow blocks on the yellow square, green blocks on green, etc. This really limits how much he actually uses it. He can't get beyond categorizing the colors. I'm sure it is a stage that will pass, but if you are looking to buy this for a toddler who sorts everything, you may want a solid color tabletop. We use this table for tea parties more often than for legos.
