The past few weeks the amazon site I usually use to search for new ebooks on my kindle fire has been lacking pictures and many of the details that before had been displayed without any problems, so I'm not sure what the issue is....or if it could be something wrong with my device exclusively. I mention this because when rating this ebook, the stars were not visible yet the space they normally inhabited lit up a small square when I tapped the area, so I assume I gave this poor excuse for a "learning" book an unknown quantity of stars. I was intending to give it a generous 2 stars but if more are shown than it was due to my not being able to view them. One star was for the good intentions the author had or perhaps the inspiration to educate children about a brave & courageous man who forever changed the minds as well as the laws of our country by first understanding the importance of freedom for all peoples, and secondly for standing up for these ideas and giving them a true voice that all would hear, despite what those around him might think or do to attempt to silence him. And the other star is for the facts and information given in this book, despite the horrendous grammatical errors. There is absolutely NO WAY possible that this author proofread any of the presented material, let alone hired an editor! Why not at least have your spouse, friends, family, ANYONE with a brain look over your "work" before making it available to the world on the internet? This terribly written blunder of the English language is a far cry from anything educational, and the errors basically wipe out the good that could've been done by giving historical facts about an interesting and heroic American legacy!

I downloaded a lot of books about Abraham Lincoln and learned many things not in my school text books. Did you know that he never chopped down his father's cherry tree and in fact he didn't even like cherrys? Most were free and its a price that is impossible to best

Some of the jokes were just mean and others just did not make any sense to me at all. I was getting bored at the facts portion because all of the facts were those i already knew so it got boring, but other than that it was a great book
