This is a very short book, but length alone does not matter. The contents, quotes from Lincoln and quotes about him from those who knew him, are a priceless reminder of what our country once was, and can be again. It shows that the presidency was once occupied by a man who put all thought of himself behind the good of his country. As a self-taught scholar, Lincoln's writings are an excellent example of erudition. If you want to be uplifted, read this book; you won't be sorry!

I loved the fact that this book not only included quotes from Lincoln himself, but also included quotes about Lincoln from other people. This is definitely a great book to read for all Abraham Lincoln fans. You will all really enjoy this title. Have Fun!

If anyone truly wants to know what Abraham Lincoln believed throughout his life this is the book to have. Forget the title.."Quotes, Q...." It does not say enough. There are quotes that will absolutely blow you away that is as timely today as they were ahead of its time when said. It is a short, comprehensive, collection of what Abraham Lincoln was, through his own words. I highly recommend this book, and, as an aside, I sent a copy to President Obama since he also admires President Lincoln.
