This album contains thirteen tunes either from the era of, or about Abraham Lincoln. Mr. Vallillo brings a good deal of talent to each track, producing a very good take on each song. My favorites are El-A-Noy, We Are Coming Father Abraham, and Hoosen Johnny, but I enjoyed all of the tracks. I highly recommend this album.
[By the way, another great album in this same vein is Ballad of America Vol. 3: Songs in the Life of Abraham Lincoln by Matthew Sabatella and the Rambling String Band.]

This album and all of Vallillo's music is great for the history buff or fans of folk or roots. I like to listen to this album while working in a museum or riding my bike in the country.
