This is Luis's fourth album and in my opinon is the second best (my favorite one is 2000's "Eterno") but I must say that his voice is better and you can feel him more comfortable now.
"Abrazar la vida" as all his albums have first class production. Luis's style is still the same. Romantic pop songs and sometimes some with more rhythm as track #6 "Yo", which is one of the best songs in this production or "Yo te propongo".
The lead single "Quien te dijo eso?" climbed to #3 in the U.S Latin Charts and the album debuted at #3 also in the U.S.
This album have songs for all moods for when you feel like dancing, melancholic or even depressed. It's very good. I think that Luis is going to go very far, he is very talented and his voice is very good.
This production contains a DVD where you can find an interview with Luis, the making of the video "Quien te dijo eso?", a day in Luis's life and the making of the album.

Since the day I heard that a new cd was on its way, I was already wanting it a lot. when i got it yesterday(oct.28) I was shocked. His Voice is more relaxing, more mature, and more romantic. WIth more feeling on all the songs. This is the bomb. The best latin album of the year for a singer such as luis fonsi. The first single, already playing hard on Radios: Quien te dijo eso was the perfect election to be a single. The sounds are awesome. This is the song that you just want to hear over and over again and like it more every time. Then the other ones, Abrazar la vida, with a new sounds blows you off. WELL DONE. Then the next ones are just perfect for the ear. For parties or for when you are in the car driving. I took a drive to the beach and it was the best thing, to have the cd playing. The song that just blew me away with its high note and excellent lyrics was: la fuerza de mi corazon(the strenght of my heart) a duet with another great singer. The song from start to end just make you want to sing with them. IS PERFECT. THis is a must have. Luis will make a lot of new fans with this cd. And I strongly suggest buying this cd. even if you don't know Spanish, by just listening to his Unique Voice, you will EMBRACE LIFE in a new way and cherish all the good moments of your life...along with his music.

Luis Fonsi is back and sounding better than ever. If there is one thing that I can say about this remarkable talent, it's the purity in his voice. His soaring tenor comes out effortless, hitting high notes that will give you chills. This will happen quite a few times on Abraza La Vida. Stunning ballads such as Eligme and Se Supone showcase his vocals the best. Beautifully sung, with gorgoeus melodies. Other highlights include the duet La Fuerza De Mi Corazon and the uptemp Yo. There are many highlights on this new cd, and you won't regret buying this. By far his best cd to date.

I have to admit that I have only just begun listening to Latin music. So, I have only recently gotten to know the works of Luis Fonsi.

First let me say that his voice is one of the most glorious instruments in the entire world. PERIOD.

Now, regarding the songs on this album. Yes, they are pop. But I love the way Luis adds his special touch to each song. The more and more I listen to it, the more it is becoming one of my favorites.

First off i would like to say that I have been a Fan of Luis Fonsi Since December 25 2000 when I got Eterno for christmas for the song Imaginame Sin Ti ( Imagine Me Without You } I fell in love with that cd and in 2003 I bought his first cd for songs i had know by name like perdoname. That was a big hit in 1998 but I did not know who Luis Fonsi was at that time. It would be almost 3 yaers that I would know who Mr. Luis Fonsi was. My mom knew him but i did not and never asked. It was long time befor I got his 2nd cd that i got his first. Now I go forward in the future and it was not a long time befor I got Abrazar la Vida { Hug Life } that I got Comenzare. Maybe a couple of Months. Abrazar La Vida is another fanstic cd from Luis and its his 5th cd and 4th spanish cd. Quien te Dijo Eso { Who Told You That } has been a big hit whre I live down here in Flordia. The reason I bought the cd was for that song but I love Abrazar la Vida much much more. Its a vey nice cd. I do not yet own Amor Secreto or Fight The Feeling or his remixes but I like to get those also so when I get them i will rate all them as well. I like it I like it. Thanks. La mas nueva produccion de Luis Fonsi, y como sus grabaciones
anteriores, este disco tambien es un "ganador". Los temas
"Quien te dijo eso?" y "Abrazar la vida", los primeros dos temas del disco, sin ninguna duda van a dejar huella.

"Yo Te Propongo", tema con ritmo caribeno/tropical, no se queda atras. Es contagioso, y te dan ganas de bailar.

Este disco ya forma parte de mi coleccion.

Fonsi: Congrats! You've done it again.

Wow! Since his last album Eterno and this album which I have. It's something you don't in artist nowadays who can actually perform and sing. Most Artists today just don't have good qualities. Luis Fonsi I must say has one of the msot beautiful voices in the Latin music scene for many years now. And that cannot be enied by just listening to his songs which are always for some reason full of passion which even makes the recors even more enjoyable to listen in tyhe first place. I hope this continues and I recommend anyone who likes good music and a sense of ballas too to listen to this album. It's worth It!

De veras que el amigo tiene talento. No hay un disco que lance que no sea bueno. Creo que Luis debería estar aun mas alto en las listas de exitos y por mas tiempo. Prefiero sus discos a los de otros cantantes supuestamente mas reconocidos.

I can't believe one of the reviews on this cd that I read. Are you kidding me?....seriously, Luis Fonsi has one of the best voices I have ever heard. I have several of his cds, and just ordered this one, and I enjoy them all very much. I think he has an incredible voice and the music is absolutely wonderful. Usually, when I buy a cd, I only enjoy a few of the songs on the cd, but every song on his cd's are worth listening to, and you can enjoy listening to them all! If you want good music and enjoy romantic music and want to hear a great voice, buy a Luis Fonsi cd. You will NOT be disappointed!

I don't know much Spanish, but Luis Fonsi has the ability to make you feel what he's singing, even without understanding the exact words behind it all. Having been a fan of his for the past couple of years, I purchased this album about a month ago and have been listening to it nonstop in my car. He definitely does not disappoint! I even drove from Houston to Chicago and listened to this album almost the whole way on repeat (only took it out when I was putting another Luis Fonsi album in). It is FULL of stunning ballads with amazing melodies. When going through this CD from ballad to ballad, you start to think it couldn't possibly get any better, and then "Eligeme" hits you in the face. What a BEAUTIFUL song! I've listened to it so many times, it plays in my head while I sit at work. If you love ballads as much as I do, this is THE album to own! There are some up-tempo songs scattered throughout, but I can't judge them fairly since I normally skip them.
