For this product to be effective, apply as soon as you think you are going to get a cold sore. The more you delay the less and less effective this will be.

this product is misleading. it relieves symptoms of cold sore, but it does not shorten the duration of cold sore. it's way too expensive when you can get carmex for a buck.
