This CD package has got to be one of the smartest things anyone would ever do for not only does it enable ALL people, blind alike, to experience Swayze's and Niemi's fine book but it lends a most special flavour, considering the Authors themselves are the narrators, each relating their own stories.

It is a tender, loving, and most touching account of Patrick Swayze's and Lisa Niemi's life. It could also very clearly be the life of anyone else involved in the Arts, really. In short, 'The Time Of My Life' is definitely a 'Must Have' for everyone, in today's day and age. This CD box set's contents reminds us all that life, more often than not, comes with hard knocks but that hope is never far away when one has courage, true grit and determination. It is an inspiring work and a great legacy. Bravo (bis) to both Swayze and Niemi on this one!

Quick shipping and brand new audio book! The story is awesome - read by Patrick and Lisa...I hung on every word they said - I laughed and cried. Patrick is and will be missed. And I wish the best for Lisa!

This audiobook sets the bar high for others to follow. I have a long commute to and from work, and have started listening to books on CD to help make my ride a little less stressful. From the moment the first words were spoken in this book, I didn't want to leave my car. I couldn't wait to get back to the story - as told by both Patrick Swayze & Lisa Niemi. Perhaps because they both have acting backgrounds, the story didn't feel "read", it felt "told." I felt like I was sitting on a couch opposite each of them and they were just telling me their life stories. It's an open, honest account of their lives individually, together, through thick and think. I was never a huge fan of Patrick Swayze's, but always enjoyed his performances in films. So I wasn't necessarily listening to this from a fan standpoint, but just from a point of interest. That said, it hooked me from minute one and made me want to see every movie Patrick Swayze ever made. It was especially poignant listening to this book after Patrick Swayze's death. I cried when it was over and truly didn't want it to end. I highly recommend this.
