Not strictly fado perhaps but still sensuously portugese. This is IMHO a great album with hardly a weak tune and excellent sound quality if Cristina's gorgeous voice (and eh.. looks) and top notch band are not enough to win you over.

Cristina Branco is fabulous, my favorite fadista, and my favorite singer. She has diverged from strict fado in a number of her previous CDs, but the music was still rich and passionate. This new CD, however, was a big disappointment for me. This CD feels more like pop music, without clear direction. I decided to sell my copy after one listening, gave it a second to be sure, and sold it the next day.
