What an apt title for this amazingly talented songwriter and singer. Carman is, simply, 'the absolute best' when wanting to listen to deep spiritual, yet contemporary music. I am in my sixties and yet enjoy all his wonderful music. What I particularly find great about this artist is that he appeals to the old and the younger generation. His double album "Heart of a Champion" I have found to be a wonderful CD to lend to teenagers who are struggling with their relationship with Christ. His album "I Surrender All" is also a great rendition of the old hymns and choruses that many of us grew up with. He is just so versatile!!

This is a collection of the best of Carman. I have never really been a fan of his music but if you had to buy one of his CDs this would probably be the one. He is a master showman and puts on rally great shows/performances. This Cd doesnt lack any of the bells/whistles he puts into those. He has some very powerful lyrics and some prais and worship songs on this CD. It has a mix of studio and live songs. Like I said he put a lot of production into these songs.

THE CASSETTE WERE HARD TO FIND IN CASSETTE FORM ANYWHERE ELSE. THEY WERE IN GREAT SHAPE WHEN THEY ARRIVED, AND ARE STILL PLAYING VERY WELL EVEN NOW. THANKS AMAZON.

Carman sends such a strong message of his love for the Lord and the Lords love for us.I think this album is the very best of Carman..He is blessed of Jesus Christ..I just hope young and old get the chance to hear the message thats sent forth..love in jesus

We love this cd! Bought an extra for a friend! Something for everyone! You just can't stop yourself from singing along. All kinds of emotions, some bring tears to your eyes while others make you smile from ear to ear. Great praise and worship cd.

I have several Carman cd's and they are all fantastic, but the Absolute Best contains the most creative songs I've ever heard.
Carman has a God-given gift for sharing the gospel with his dynamic, challenging, and even humorous style. The words will give you goosebumps, bring you to tears, and make you laugh and shout for joy!
If anyone wanted to give a cd to someone who doesn't know God in a personal way, this is the one!!

This CD is good mix of all of Carman's greatest songs up to that point. My only complaint is that The Champion is The Live version, and I didn't know that before I got the CD. It cuts out the beginning part of the song.Otherwise than that It is Great.

I've listened to a lot of Carman's music, and this CD truly is the best! He's great to listen to and even better in concert! His lyrics are meaningful and prophetic and very energetic. Buying this CD is an absolute must.

This compilation is one that will energize as well as strengthen the Holy Spirit in one's life. It will bring being Christian to a level playing field for the young person today. Just a lot of fun!

As a "newie" to Christian music, Carman was an artist I could not pass up. I had the opportunity to hear "Serve the Lord" and "Fear Not My Child" through a friend...and immediately ran out and bought the CD myself. The entire CD is terrific. Highly recommend.
