5.0 out of 5 stars This series gets better and better
Volume 4 of Absolute Boyfriend puts you on an emotional rollercoaster. You'll literally experience belly laughs, heartaches, annoyance, and loads of shock. I read this volume in one night because it's not possible to put it down..... you're turning the next page before you can even think.

1.0 out of 5 stars The calm before the storm...
While "Absolute Boyfriend" starts out as a fun, lighthearted series, be warned - this manga does not have a happy ending. Book 6 is a heartbreaker. When I found this out, I stopped buying the series at volume 3. This series has a lot to recommend it, but its artist/author, Yuu Watase took a wrong turn. Bummer.

Volume 4 of Absolute Boyfriend puts you on an emotional rollercoaster. You'll literally experience belly laughs, heartaches, annoyance, and loads of shock. I read this volume in one night because it's not possible to put it down..... you're turning the next page before you can even think.

The theme I think is character involvement; the relationships between the characters become a lot stronger. Riiko's relationships with Soshi and Night become a lot more heated and it has become ALOT more difficult to tell who Riiko loves more. There are also 2 new main characters that come in and create some huge plot twists. And if you think the short-haired person on the front cover is Riiko you're wrong! [... that confused me]. Now.... Satori Miyabe..... she has about 1 page in this entire volume. But Yuu Watase is known for her side characters having important roles so I believe in future volumes she'll have an importances.

Krono's Heaven is still an unexplained mystery, but some of the company's 'unique abilities' are reveleved. Mainly this vol. focuses on the 2 new characters and what they do. The ending to this volume is a strange one, but in a good way. I'm kinda sad because I know that there are only 2 more vols. to the Absolute Boyfriend series and I don't want it to end. I really hope that this series gets turned into an anime one day..... that would make me so happy! ^_^

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Series, August 28, 2007
This review is from: Absolute Boyfriend, Vol. 4 (Paperback)
I've been reading these books since the first day they came out in America. They're such an interesting read! And when I say interesting, I mean seriously funny about sexual situations.

This one topped the past three other books. There are a few more dilemmas revealed in the book and of course there are some intimately funny situations. I recommend buying this book.
