5.0 out of 5 stars Very well done
Season takes on two difficult writing chores at once, autobiography and medical teaching. Bravo! If I ever write an autobiography, I hope I can be this funny and candid.

A brave, sometimes funny and ultimately uplifting book. Perhaps the most amazing thing of all about this autobiography is the authors complete lack of bitterness about her situation. Instead, Season is optimistic as she describes life inside her "bubble".

The writing and publishing job is not perfect, but is still far more professional than what is often offered with Print on Demand. Her offering of bible verses and discussion of religion may be a little heavy for some readers.

I learned of Season and her situation a few years ago, when her story appeared in an Adelaide newspaper. She shared a name and looked similar to an outlandish, bubbly girl with dyed blonde hair that had attended my high school in the mid 1990s. Maybe the author is the same person. Or maybe my memory is unreliable and this is someone entirely different. Either way, it hardly seems to matter. Whoever the author is the way she has coped with MMS is commendable, as is the way she describes her illness clearly and realistically, without sounding like a medical textbook.
