Product Description

When replacing your factory radio with an after-market car stereo, the AWH310 (TWH950 / 70-1761) wire harness is a must for a quick and clean installation. It eliminates cutting your OE radio plug. After connecting it, your install is simple as the wires will color-match and easily connect to the after-market stereo. Without the AWH310 (TWH950 / 70-1761), you would have to cut the OE radio plug and manually test each wire to connect to your after-market receiver. In addition, because you do not have to cut your OE radio plug off, the AWH310 (TWH950 / 70-1761) allows you to reinstall your factory receiver if necessary. A great example is if you sold your car, but wanted to keep your after-market radio and re-install your factory stereo receiver. Connections: ? Yellow - 12V Constant ? Red - 12V Accessory ? 3.0 out of 5 stars Easy yo use, once you figure it out, December 28, 2011
This review is from: Absolute AWH310 (TWH950 / 70-1761) Wire Harness to Connect an Aftermarket Stereo Receiver to Select 1987-2008 Toyota Vehicles (Electronics)
I bought this for my 2002 4runner. I spent over an hour trying to figure out why the harness didn't match up, and trying to find another brand that did. I finally figured out (through a bunch of research online) that my truck had a factory amp tucked underneath the dash. Once I unhooked the amp, this harness clicked right in and is functioning as expected.

I am not a professional stereo installer, but I am a fairly accomplished DIY car guy. This is the 3rd car stereo I have installed myself.

5 stars for easy of use and price.
2 stars for lack of instructions included with the harness.
3 stars final review.

This review is from: Absolute AWH310 (TWH950 / 70-1761) Wire Harness to Connect an Aftermarket Stereo Receiver to Select 1987-2008 Toyota Vehicles (Electronics)
This made installation of my new stereo a breeze. All the wires were color coded to the new stereo wires which made it just matching and clamping. Would definately recommend this product.
