5.0 out of 5 stars Great designs, fun to color - detailed without being tedious
As the title says, this is a great stress reduction coloring book for teens or adults. The designs are great, have lots of detail to color in but not tedious. When I color to destress I don't want a lot of itsy bittsy things to color, I want to see some bold designs and progress with a enough detail to make it worth doing. That is how these desgins are made...

3.0 out of 5 stars Not exactly what I expected.
It is really hard to buy coloring books when you can't see the inside. I wish I had, because this book isn't to my taste. The spaces are much too large, you have to use wide markers instead of thin ones. It doesn't do much for de-stressing, each one only takes minutes to complete. More for kids. Of note, the pages are one-sided, which is good, and the designs repeat...

As an artist, I occasionally go through a stuck period, these wonderful designs to color, always get my creativity unstuck and get the ideas flowing again. It is so fun to see how unusual color combinations look colored into these wonderful abstract designs. I recommend this book not only for the fun of coloring in the images but as a tool to get your creativity flowing.

I didn't think I would like these designs but after coloring them with markers, they were very cool! My granddaughter loved the designs.

Varied, inspiring images. No repeated pages. Printed on one side of bright white, high quality pages (will still bleed through with high end markers). Lots to choose from.

I have bought a number of these books. I really enjoy them. This book has one picture per page (nothing on the back) which is nice because I use Sharpies for coloring and they bleed through. The paperweight is nice as well. Thicker than most books I have.
These abstract books are really nice. They allow for so much variation of color and light. If you have a bit of creativity you will really enjoy them.
I own I, II, and III. I like II the best followed by this one... but they were close!
So, while the price is higher... I really am pleased with them. I will purchase more.

I REALLY like the excellent quality of the paper in this series. Highest quality I've ever seen in a coloring book. Makes the experience that much more enjoyable.

I am purchasing the series in order, so I've only seen I, II, and III so far. This one is the best of the 3, in my opinion. I and II seem to be entirely too similar in content. However, III introduces a few new concepts and shows more diversity from page to page.

Would recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lovely!, April 23, 2011

This is a great coloring book for anyone that is creative and enjoys coloring. To me, this coloring book was made mainly for teenagers and adults due to the absence of characters. This book strictly has unique shapes, but children would also enjoy it if they get tired of cartoon characters. A must have!
