This book was part of a set produced to show case the best examples of watercolor art. I believe the others presented florals and landscapes. I wanted to buy a copy for my nephew as a wedding gift and was very surprised to see the prices, but rather pleased as I own several copies as well as some of the original artwork represented in the book.

The dust jacket is vellum with a round cut out showcasing the cover art. It is a small but beautiful book. It is an excellent representation of the best works of contemporary watercolorists.

I thought this was going to be a bigger book,for the money I spend.With viewing a abstract,the pleasure of looking; is to pick out parts that you don't see the frist time around,and to do that it needs some size to pick up on those details.I like the book and the paintings,The seller was just fine.No problems and got it well within the promise shipping date.The artist who put this together,in my opinion would have had better sales,if the book had more size.

My friend was happy to receive this very small book but is still having trouble reading due to lymphoma above her left eye. I think that the book was priced too high (I paid about double the price of a new one) but it had an artist's work in there that I know and it is special.
