Did you know it has no division? It's more than 2 meters tall and only one piece. How I supposed to travel with? No way. I returned it. Amazon, please inform it!

I've been using this combo (2 of them) for 3 months and they seem to work pretty good. No shuttering, easy casting, and sufficient drag for the 20# test I use. I've caught Fluke up-to 24" with this rod, and it did pretty well. The crank is kind of small for my hands, but what do you expect for such a small reel?

Overall, the drag is smooth under heavy pressure, and the reel casts easily, even for beginners. The reel comes apart easily for cleaning/greasing like all Abu reels, and I would trust this reel mechanically to hold up for an even larger fish.
The rod is decent as well, and provides light to medium action. The graphite blank distributes pressure well throughout the rod, and the cork grips stay nice even in the raid and cold.

I bought this fishing rod for my husband as a Valentine's gift and he loves it. Within an hour or so of fishing with it for the first time he got the hang of fishing with a bait cast rod. Now with practice, he says that "birdnesting" does not occur as much anymore. He is now looking to purchase another rod from this same brand because he liked it so much.

As you can tell from the title I got this for my father on Father's Day and he was happy. Abu Garcia makes some of the best reels and this one is very nice for trout/redfish fishing :)
