All Revo reels are made of an X-Craftic aluminum alloy that's more durable and lighter than regular aluminum and resists corrosion. The reel's 11 high-performance bearings, meanwhile, provide the smooth casting and superior distance that modern fishing requires.
Anglers have their choice of two speeds--a 6.4:1 version and a 7.1:1 model--available in both right- and left-handed orientations. The high-speed 7.1:1 SX reels will help anglers with their pitching and flipping presentations as well as burning baits over grass. Other features include Linear Magnetic brakes, Duragear brass gears, and synchronized level wind. Offering a line capacity of 12/140, the Revo reel carries a lifetime warranty.

Purchased the "lefty" version of this reel and I am totally satisfied with the quality and function of this reel. This was my first baitcaster and I wanted quality. The Abu Garcia Revo reels are professional grade fishing tools and are as good or better than anything out their. Amazon and its partner offer good prices for these items as well. High points for this reel are the easy brake adjustments, the super powerful drag, they are reasonably light, and, oh yeah, they catch fish. I have since bought more Abu baitcasters including another couple SX's. They are an excellent value.
