The book lays out a simple framework to explain what abundance alchemy is. It is not a book for understanding about the transmutation process in detail. Nor does it take a look into the mysticism involved in ancient alchemy. Instead, it is a book that describes universal principles that can be applied in the context of contemporary times. It is mainly targeted at those who are seeking financial freedom or on the path towards material abundance but are having emotional difficulties. The reader is also led to know that he is the hero of his own life story (or the heroine of her own life story). Narrated within the overall structure of an alchemist as a hero or heroine, this book is an excellent companion for anyone on the inward path.

About the Author
In her previous career as a banker, the author Evelyn Lim assisted clients in their loan and investment needs. Over time, her own search in wealth creation led her on a journey to growing the best asset of all - the self. Since then, she has dedicated her efforts in helping others shift their paradigm for overall abundance. In terms of qualifications, Evelyn Lim is a certified Master NLP practitioner, certified Life Coach, EFT practitioner and Vision Board Counselor. She lives in Singapore, at the heart of the financial district in Asia. She also writes prolifically, based on her experiences in coaching others, her personal challenges as well as being a mother to two young children. I believe that reading can change our lives by improving our knowledge and
giving us new insights into the world. And so it is with Abundance
Alchemy by Evelyn Lim. For many of us, we consider abundance to be
earthly pleasures, material wealth and worldly success. But despite our
best efforts to better ourselves through workshops and self-help books, we
always seem to fall sort of the mark. Instead, we end up feeling
miserable and discouraged.
Evelyn does not offer some get rich quick scheme, instead she recommends
that we work on our inner selves to bring about lasting abundance. And by
abundance she means discovering our purpose and passions, having better
relationships with family and friends and loving ourselves fully.
Because working on the inner self can be tricky business, Evelyn has
provided a systematic guide of how to go about the process. At the same
time, she has also shared her personal experiences and the challenges she
faced while on her path of inner alchemy. I found this useful because it
served as a guide for my own journey.
There are many useful lessons in the book. The ones that stood out most
for me were learning how to overcome negativity and fear, creating meaning
in life and changing the way I viewed money. This last point is important
because the way we view money will affect how much money we have in life.
All in all, Abundance Alchemy is a book that is worth a read. Each of us
will take away a different experience from the book. But if you can
follow the exercises and guidance found therein, you will experience
meaningful changes in your life. Although you might need some time to
absorb and implement the ideas, it is well worth the effort.
