This colorful, 64-page book is a treasure! Each of the nine fruits of the Spirit are represented in a separate chapter. A short narrative, a prayer, quotes from scripture, people and literature, work with the paintings to give a restful and encouraging "picture" of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. This book would be a wonderful gift, but also a great asset to your own home--open on a coffee table, mantle or shelf. Reading through it is like taking a short vacation.

This was writen by Emilie Barnes when she was illness. It shows us how wonderful friendship, love, and caring in her life. She told us about the fruit of the Spirit and shared, how the Grace works in her life, with us. It is a hight recommendable. Understanding God's Word in our life. God loves us and gives our hopes though Jesus Christ.

Excellent, excellent, excellent! I first found this book in a gift shop. I bought two, one to save, and one to give away. Since then I have to keep buying them because I keep giving away my copy. The book is beautifully illustrated, and the messages are worth reading daily. Amazon.com always has the books I'm looking for, even the ones that are hard to find.
