5.0 out of 5 stars FINALLY, ONE THAT WORKS!
I have very fine (baby fine) hair. I spent years looking for a shampoo that would give me the volume I wanted - this is it. I use this shampoo every day and the conditioner once a week. I love the smell and the way it makes my hair look and feel!!! Highly recommend to any one with fine, or thin hair!!

2.0 out of 5 stars Makes my fine hair gummy
I bought this product to replace Redken's discontinued Solve line. Solve, a clay-based shampoo, left my hair incredibly soft, with lots of volume.

Aveda's Pure Abundance, however, weighed my hair down and made it difficult to comb when wet.

5.0 out of 5 stars love it!, January 21, 2007

This product works great, I can use it while being pregnant. It does not contain DEA which studies are showing may cause cancer and interfere with fetal brain development. I love the smell too!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Volumizing Shampoo works!!, December 4, 2007
This review is from: Aveda Pure Abundance Volumizing Shampoo, 8.5-Ounce Bottle (Health and Beauty)
Aveda's Pure Abundance Volumizing Shampoo really works. I've been using it for a few months, along with the conditioner and my natural hair has gotten thicker and healthier. When I went to a beauty shop to get my hair straightened, the beautician told me how thick my hair was.

This shampoo is truly the best. It has great texture, BEAUTIFUL scent, and truly adds volume to my hair. I also use the Aveda Pure Abundance conditioner. I will never go back to regular shampoos and conditioners.

4.0 out of 5 stars Helped my dull hair, September 20, 2010
I have naturally wavy hair that is dull and looks damaged. I realized today, after using Shampure for about a week that it really does help my dull damaged hair look more heathly. I won't say it looks great but it is better for sure. I usually have to put smoothing serum/cream on my to make it look halfway decent, but I actually think shampure works well enough my hair looks better without anything additional.
I am not crazy about the scent though like some people say. It smells pretty strong of herbs: coriander, eucalyptus, lavender.

One note: be careful of the pricing on this product. Call an Aveda salon by you for price or check [...]. I paid less than what is advertised on Amazon at this time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love the Aveda Shampure shampoo & conditioner, January 4, 2007
By
I *love* this formula for my thick, naturally curly, slightly hilighted hair. It does a great job cleaning without stripping, and this is the first conditioner that did a good job tackling my naturally curly hair without weighing it down. I did get a good deal at my salon - $9 for the shampoo and a little more for the conditioner.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Shampoo, October 2, 2011
By
This is one of the few shampoos that I can use where my hair actually feels clean. It runs for about $8.50 on the Aveda website and in their stores so I would suggest buying ti from there (plus you get free samples!). The smell is great too. Even though it seems like you're not getting a lot of product, you don't have to use as much and the quality is amazing. For everyone who has bought a bottle of crap shampoo or an expensive shampoo that turned out to be crap you would be wise to give Aveda products a shot. I have never bought something from them that I disliked and that says a lot about me because when it comes to hair care I am EXTREMELY picky.

3.0 out of 5 stars Fragrant but lacking lather and reasonable price, August 6, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Aveda Pure Abundance Volumizing Shampoo, 8.5-Ounce Bottle (Health and Beauty)
Actually meant to buy the hairspray (which I really like) but accidentally bought the shampoo. Shampoo has a great fragrance (at least to me) but doesn't lather very well so feels like I have to apply alot. Hair feels and looks good but not better than a Neutrogena. In the end, a big premium to pay so can't heartily endorse. Better love the fragrance.
