Book Description

A Boner Book September 1, 2007
WOW!! Another on a list of hits to "tickle the sole" by Christopher Trevor. A good friend, and a great author who co-authored my first story "The Detour". From Christopher's short stories to his first novel "Timmy's Ticklish Trials" he always keeps those ticklish toes curled.

About the Author

Christopher Trevor was born in July 1963 and grew up in New York City. As soon as he was old enough to know how he began writing fiction and has been writing gay erotic/fetish stories for the past ten to twelve years at this point. He became an avid reader as well from the time he knew how and read.

love games of chance. I love seeing just how far a guy will agree to stretch himself in an agreed upon game of chance. Most guys won’t admit to it but they love putting themselves in situations where their machismo is put to the test. I love cruel irony wherein a situation with an intended goal goes totally awry. I love seeing the tables turned on an unsuspecting guy. And I especially love when an ordinary evening spent sipping beer in a bar can turn into a festive and watered-down occasion. I suppose it can be said that I am drawn to darkness and the more sinister side of game playing. The book that so inspired me nearly a decade ago (“That Day at The Quarry” written by Tom Shaw) still haunts me (in a good way) when I write stories of games of chance and cunning. In this latest book I explore the facets of what I am describing herein…to a point of exaggeration of course. In “A Tribute to Timmy and Vince (they are my two buddies that I dedicated my book “Don’t!! Stop!! That Tickles” too) I bring to fictional life Vince’s ongoing fantasy of nabbing and finally tickle torturing the handsome Southern gentleman, Timmy Backman. (Timmy Backman, as most of my readers now know was introduced in my novel “Timmy’s Ticklish Trials” and “Timmy and The Hong Kong Tailor”.) This story (A Tribute to Timmy and Vince) revolves around the fact that Timmy has just acted as an usher in a buddies wedding and the tables suddenly turn and the tuxedoed guy finds himself in the clutches of Tickle Master Vince. What could be more ordinary than being an usher in a friend’s wedding? What could be more unordinary than winding up as a tickle victim after being an usher in a friend’s wedding? Just for some campy fun I put myself into the story as well. “Timmy confronts his Brother Bruce” and “Timmy Tickled by Santa Claus” (a twisted holiday story if ever there was one) both show what can happen when the most ordinary situations go totally hairy…or when the rug is suddenly pulled out from under one’s feet. Timmy knows that it was his brother who set him up to fall tickle victim in the stories “Timmy at the Leather Bar” and “Timmy and The Hong Kong Tailor” so it seems only fitting that the handsome guy would confront his brother on this. What does not seem fitting is the guy having the tables turned yet again and winding up tickled by his own flesh and blood. I wrote Piss Fried (Literally) after an internet chat with a buddy who is somewhat into water sports

5.0 out of 5 stars Timmy's Further Perils, And Then Some!!, January 25, 2010

This review is from: The Abusive Wager (A Boner Book) (Paperback)
"The Abusive Wager" by Christopher Trevor, is yet another trip down an exceedingly twisted road, one which leads to games of chance, tables being turned, and, of course, more thrilling fetish play.

The last story in the book entitled "The Abusive Wager" concerns two commuters who strike up a friendship, get together for an evening of cards and make a wager, only Daniel, the hot Asian half of the pair, gets much more than he bargained for.

The next-to-last story, "Piss Fried", has to do with a man who cannot relieve himself when his nipples are being played with. A situation arises when he finds himself kidnapped and forced to drink more than his share of beer.

These stories are well-written, and exceedingly erotic. But the meat of the book lies in the first three stories. This section of the book should be sub-titled "The FURTHER Perils of Timmy", the character from "Timmy's Ticklish Trials".

In each of these stories, our hero, Timmy Backman, finds himself at the mercy of one fiendish tickler after another. In "Timmy Confronts His Brother Bruce", Timmy is outraged at having been set up by his brother in the past story "Timmy At the Leather Bar", decides to pay him a visit to settle the score, and winds up playing victim to his brother, who had tormented him many times as a child.

In "A Tribute to Timmy and Vince", Timmy finds himself kidnapped (yet again!!) by someone with a connection. Mr. Trevor puts himself into this story, as the "hero" of the piece, and it all ties in beautifully.

"Timmy Tickled By Santa Claus" is a twisted holiday tale if ever there was one, as, unbeknownst to Timmy, Bull, the bartender from the infamous Leather Bar, is playing Santa at the mall where Tim is shopping with his wife. Timmy's brother also figures into the set-up in this one.

If there is ANY fault in this book, in my humble opinion, one of the Timmy stories should have ended the book. The last two stories are really good, but just a bit anti-climactic after three stories about Timmy being tickled.

Perhaps the author would consider re-shuffling the stories upon a second printing?

Once again, however, Mr. Trevor has created such vivid tales that you can almost feel every feather stroke Timmy feels. There is such detail, the stories play like mini-movies. In fact, these stories would translate beautifully as fetish films.

Recommended without reservation, "The Abusive Wager" is a wonderful read, one which, once again I could not put down.

Christopher Trevor knows male/male discipline and writes about it vividly. You will enjoy this. I'm going to order a couple more of his books until I have finally read them all.
