Good CD, but a little short,

I originally heard this CD @ my university's music library, and at the time i was really impressed. Upon receiving the CD i listened to it quit a few times, and each time i start to get into it, the brevity of the album quickly ruined my groove. But it is definitely a solid purchase and i would recommend it to anyone, the only problem you may have is coping w/ the 26min length of the album.

I consider we need to know how different Capoeira academies play "Toques" and (why not?) the way they sing and play musical instruments; in order to getting better as Capoeirists.By Hearing this CD you can feel yourself as if you were inside the Roda because members of Academia de Capoeira Angola San Jorge enjoy a lot what they do. Performance of Mestre Caicara is simply Excellent. He's a good singer and, of course, he also do enjoy singing and playing, you can check this in some Ladainhas when Mestre Caicara laughs a little between phrase and phrase. I can assure you enjoy this CD too. |
