This book is a great tool for both experienced and novice writers in college matters. It introduces basic information about sentence structure, style, tone and other features you need to consider when writing a scholar papers. It also provides lots of practice to reinforce the concepts introduced and put them into practice.

I love this book because it has given me the basic writing skills I need to write a research paper. I am about to start my master's degree in the U.S.A. and this book has been very helpful. This book is easy to read and has lots of exercises.

A very helpful book.

-1 star only because the examples are sort of old and short, and thus there is a gap from my real purpose. But still, it is a good book since the basic ideas it conveys are always helpful, especially for international stduents.

This book is a wonderful companion for graduate students and will serve as a good reference material for any else who will write for the academia. It is quite comprehensive in dealing with several writing cases and will be useful throughout one's career. Is worth the price you pay. In short, if you plan to write, buy this book and read it.

As told by my instructor, and used by myself, I found this book EXTREMELY useful and constructive. Both undergrads and graduate will discover the effectiveness and inside knowledge of how to better write English academically. So, strongly recommend to those non-English and English native students.

Very good source of information about writing for University and Academic papers. Fully recommended for international students who are dealing with english as a foreign language!!!

This is text book for my course that I am taking now. You may have to pay $20 even for a used one. But this one is brand new and is perfect for me. Initially I bought a used one, when it had a lot of writing, I searched on amazon and found a new one for $16.01 only. Returned back and ordered this one.

I like this book very much. I bought a used one but quality of the book was clean. It is really good for students to follow its tasks and practice writing skills. I recommend this book to other people strongly. Excellent text book. Our school is using this book as a text book. It is not difficult but very helpful. Go for it.

This book includes how to write an academic essay. It provides a lot of basic knowledge and give audience a outline. I think it is better introduce book to write paper.
