A combo of sidewall and capped constructions, the Merit will hold a line on steep runs and smooth out the hard knocks of rails and ledges. Academy's fiberglass, with carbon-fiber woven in, provides super pop and quick edge-to-edge responsiveness. All of this is wrapped around a lightweight aspen core to create a deck that can hold its own in any condition.
