I've used this product for several years now - NOT CONSTANTLY but every other month or so based on the directions. I usually purchase this item at a discount chain but they have been out of the product so the price on Amazon plus free Prime shipping worked for me. It seems to me that the success rate of the product depends on your own internal "processing and flushing" cycle-if you know what I mean. My cycle is very slow and I frequently feel bloated no matter how much fruit and fiber I eat. I know I could eat or drink Acai berry but I don't like the taste. When I have not taken this product for a while, I can really tell the difference. The very first time I used the product, I did spend a lot of time in the bathroom. The first day or 2 of taking the product, you can expect to spend more time in the bathroom than normal. After than your body adjusts and you make fewer trips to the bathroom. I would say that Days 1 and 2 of taking the product are the most "productive". Sometimes I do have a little cramping on the first day or so but - that first "productive" day makes me feel great! Sometimes, I will take the product for just 2 days if I feel especially bloated; let it do its thing then go off again. It is a 2 week plan then you let your body rest for a while and go back to your natural cycle then another 2 weeks a month or so later. Keep in mind what this product is supposed to be doing for you - cleaning you out - so be smart about when you start. DO NOT start this when you are not going to have quick and easy access to a bathroom. For example, if you are going on a long driving trip or to the doctor for some procedure that might take hours - that's NOT the time to start. Saturday is usually a good day for me to start. I try to make sure I have some of the product around for when I come back from a vacation where I ate out a lot - especially a cruise. I'm sure some people will like this and others will not. But for me, the product works and it makes me feel good.
