This is an excellent collection of spirituals, arranged in an interesting combination of the traditional and the new. Elijah Rock is wonderful, and Swing Low, Sweet Chariot will bring tears to your eyes. I particularly liked the men's voices - beautiful harmonies and exact rhythm on all tracks. This is a fantastic CD!

One of the best Gospel recordings I have ever heard! The harmonies keep growing, the energy keeps building, and the whole album gets you wanting to clap your hands and sing along. Elijah Rock and Swing Low, Sweet Chariots are amazing! A must-have.

I found this CD to be in excellent condition. The sound quality was great, and the music itself is very uplifting.

This collection of spirituals is an immensely beautiful and well crafted set of performance accomplishments. Given the content of the lyrics, the care and reverence in the arrangements and evident diligence of the singers in preparation for this - these pieces offer a deep and sacred listening experience. The tight, bright and rich harmonies coupled with the oft ethereal strains in this unaccompanied rhythmic singing are truly awe-begetting.

This CD is absolutely fantastic! The group (a capella) has a rich blend of voices and the arrangements are terrific. I just love it.

The voices are beautiful, the singing is excellent and the arrangements are pure genius. This is how Spirituals are meant to be done. If this music doesn't move you, see if you are still breathing. Music to enjoy over and over.
