This product is garbage. Two out of three of the predicators had holes in them! The other reviewers said, this reduced glare, it does not. In fact it does the oposite. WIth this protector on, there is so much additional glare it lasted 30 minutes. For example, I talked out side with this 'screen protector' and you cant even see anything on your ipad will full brightness. It looks like its turned off. WIth it off, no issues. With an anti-glare protector, no issues.

Get a real screen protector.

Despite reading warnings that this product was difficult and taking extraordinary care to properly apply to my brand new and spotless iPad 2 screen, all three protectors were wasted. The film carries a static charge the moment it is removed which attracts dust and makes for impossible application without trapping particles and bubbles. The holes do not line up to the Home Button and the Front Camera. And, when it seemed I got my last of three protectors applied almost perfectly and nearly lined up, I lifted the top screen cover, only to discover that it removed the protective film as well.
DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I have applied protective films by a different manufacturer to my iPhone with no complications, this manufacturer was cheaper and I got what I paid for.

This screen protector has a strong rainbow effect (more greenish) once applied. I will post 2 or 3 pictures as "customer's pictures" for the product.

Bought this Acase screen protector for my ipad and also bought the iphone version based on reviews (I always spend half a day reading reviews before buying something). :)

I managed to apply it perfectly (the pictures show a spot in a corner, that is not a bubble). The bathroom trick and scotch tape works (also a rocked blower that I use to clean my DSLR lenses).

It is clear and I like it not being matte. It feels close to the naked glass, but has a little more drag to it.
You can see the rainbow effect in different type of lightning, not just fluorescent (I don't have fluorescent lights and the pictures are taken in bathroom under CFL lights).
It makes the screen and black margins very ugly. You can't see it or it is hard to see it on the screen while the screen is on, but you can see it on the black margins.

Lots of good reviews and just a few mentioned the rainbow effect. Maybe we got a bad batch.. I tried just one since I applied it perfectly. I was thinking to return it to amazon, but will give it a second chance. Will try tomorrow a second sheet, but not in the bathroom. I want to exclude the theory that the rainbow effect my be caused by the humidity in the air. Will try in a dry room.

Edit 12/17/11 - I tried to apply a second piece to my iPHONE under dry conditions. Same rainbow effect. Tried the iphone version first because it is easier to apply. Since both are from acase and both had the same issue, I would not spend the time and try another one for ipad. I can tell you that the air was very dry (because of winter heating). Looks like it's not the moisture that causes this.

I applied it perfectly again (on the iphone). Scotch tape is the most important part. Just peel it off and apply and remove scotch tape to the side with dust. If you don't get it straight, just peel it off and reapply without touching the underneath. I used a razor knife to peel a corner, remove the dust with scotch and stick it back.

Nothing complex to say here. It is in fact too difficult to remove all dust from a normal environment, and the negative reviewers aren't stupid, inept, or drama queens who are exaggerating. It is just not possible to apply these things without SOME microscopic dust particles getting between the screen and the cover... so bubbles are not avoidable. So they end up in the trash, a couple dollars down the drain.

On the positive side, there wasn't anything wrong with this items construction or packaging or anything, they seem fine. They fit the iPad 2 screen perfectly.

I gave up trying with all the films but I was unable to remove the bubbles. I tried the final sheet in the bathroom as some forums have suggested but that didn't help either. Looked at the instructions and they are bare minimum that are of little help. I am no expert with these things so I thought maybe I could get help from the manufacturer. Tried to look up manufacturer's contact info for help but couldn't find any. Well, I gueess I will be returning these, or what's left of them.

I liked the product, but my mother in law brought us a better screen protector. But it isn't so important, because this product works perfectly, by the way...

I choose this screen protector over other ones on amazon and I am very disappointed in it. First of all the screen cleaner pad left more dust than if i I didnt wipe it.My fingerprints are more visible than the previous cheaper screen protector I had. DO NOT BUY!

I used this product as instructed. It works as represented. I was careful about eliminating bubbles with a credit card edge. I has not effected the usefulness of my iPad or any of the apps. I am very pleased.

I'm glad I decided to purchase the screen protector for may iPad2. It was very easy to install and I can rest assured the screen will be protected for a long time. Thanks!

I've used protective film before on my Iphone and Ipod Touch, so I had an idea of how to use this product. The main thing to do is take your time and follow the directions. I had to reposition the film twice, once to get it straight and once because of a tiny piece of dust. I had no problem with repositioning and the film was easy to handle. I did have a lot of bubbles, but spent about 10 minutes rubbing them out with the microfiber cloth. I got all but one small bubble. So after about 15 minutes I had one small bubble and one tiny dust speck. This was much better than I did on my Iphone and Itouch and I'm pleased with the result on my Ipad. I will buy this product again if I need another screen protector.
