Amazon Verified Purchase
Bought this because after a few months the velcro on the case included with the Transformer wore out. This case works completely with tension- the Transformer "snaps" into the case and the cover is locked shut by having stiff edges that curl around the case. It seems like it will last a long time.

- All corners are covered with thick plastic or steel reinforced leather. The device seems very well protected.
- Well fitted to the device. The Transformer has a curved back, and the case is curved perfectly.
- The stand function is well designed and works perfectly. As previous reviewers have said it doesn't lock in the stand position, but this hasn't been a problem for me.
The only negative is that you have to remove the cover to use the docking keyboard. The Transformer fits very snugly in the case, so you are not going to want to be taking it off and on frequently. If you are going to use the Transformer as a tablet most of the time, get this case. If you are going to use the device in laptop mode most of the time, there are better options,

It is a great folio, very well made, genuine leather, looks great, very slim profile, keeps tablet well protected. Stand is a nice feature.
You can connect tablet to a keyboard by laying down the cover behind the screen. But you won't be able to put a keyboard on the cover. Also the folio can't cover tablet with a keyboard.

This is the best-looking case I've seen. The attachment system is solid, yet not bulky like the pockets used in other designs, and the clasp to keep it closed works very well. I would have given it five stars, except for two issues: 1)Like most cases, this one seems to be primarily designed to be used as a stand. Folding back the cover to hold the pad in your hands works fine, but the case seems to want to pop back open like this, and there's no way to keep it open in this configuration. I have yet to find a case that works well for this purpose, which is very strange. 2) It can be used with the keyboard attached, but it just barely doesn't fit. I think if the hinge portion were made a little bit wider, both of these issues would be solved.

Durable

Poor closure design
The case is very nice and once on the Transformer feels very nice, however when it is closed there is no way to charge, not is there a way to charge while it is standing. Read more

Just the functionality I was looking for.
This is just enough to cover the transformer tablet (not the keyboard). I was pleased at the quality and durability of the leather, and it doesn't add much extra bulk. Read more

Does the Job
Works good. Protects the tablet well. Kind of hard to open/close. Might eventually show wear marks, where the tab rubs on the tablet when opening/closing.
