About the Author

EJ is a problem solver. She was a mathematician, computer programmer and system s analyst for 20 years after college, until her life took a left turn and she had to write about it.

Once she wrote a book (Angel On Board), she found there were precious few resources for a first time author, so instead of pitching to publishing companies, she created the publishing company of her dreams. Her publishing company was designed to keep the author s best interests at heart. It also was designed to educate and empower them. Using her background as a problem solver and systems creator, she applied her unique skill set to create marketing solutions for herself and for other authors in her publishing company. She created new tools and adopted existing tools that put her books out where people can find them whether or not they know the name of the book or the author.

She teaches this and applies these methods to the books she publishes, her students books and now, with the release of this book - all book(s). Much more than theory or principles, she shares the real world application of these tools by providing examples and statistics.

She has been publishing books for more than 10 years and she has been using the internet every step of the way. Her status as an author and her background in programming gave her a distinct advantage over people trying to do the same thing over the same time period. She was born with a great desire to teach. She didn't want to grow up to be a writer, in fact that was the farthest thing from her mind, but she did want to teach. So every opportunity that has ever come along in her life where she could share something she s learned and help someone else, she took and she taught.

She is an author, a book coach, a consultant, an internet guru, a computer nerd, a publisher and a teacher and she uses all of these talents to sell thousands and thousands of books.

More About the Author

EJ Thornton's first novel Angel On Board started her on career as an author, but what she didn't know at the time is that it also started her career as a publisher.

Frustrated with the publishing options available for a first-time author, EJ set out to create a publishing business that worked for the first-time author's book and all their subsequent books.

Authoring other such titles as Accelerated Book Marketing, Profitable Book Publishing, Revenue Beyond Royalties and How to Write the Feel-Good Book of the Year, EJ teaches other authors how to get their books in print and how to get them sold. The beauty of these books is they are written by a publisher, with a vast array of experience both writing and publishing fiction, non-fiction, children's books, poetry and self-help books.

Other books EJ Thornton has written include, Secrets to Creating Passive Income, its Kindle spin off 7 Easy Ways to Make Everyday a Payday. These books contain practical advice she first implemented for her authors, and expanded to include anyone who wanted to make some extra money to work towards their own Financial Freedom.

Her only children's book is a great hit and it is called, "I Have a Secret, Do I Keep It?"

EJ has co-authored several books with her husband John Clark Craig who is a prolific author in his own right - the most fun and frivolous one of these is Spirit Mound, the first book in a series titled Aliens in American History.

This is a common sense approach to promoting your book--"putting your book where your customers are already searching for answers." Then Ms. Thornton gives us the tools to do exactly that! I found myself underlining, underlining, underlining--there is so much great (and practical) advice on every page! I recently took a workshop to help us increase our presence on the Web which was five times the cost of this book, and I found the information in this book actually superior to the information I gleaned from the workshop. Highly Recommended!

I was so glad to receive this book in the mail from one of my other author friends who recommended it. Associative book marketing makes a ton of sense! Sell your books where your customers are looking. Wow - simple to say, simple to grasp and best of all, simple to do. I got this book when it was purple and gold, it has obviously been updated with this new cover. I like it too. Since I'm certain there is new information behind that new cover, I'm gonna have to get the second edition as well. This was a very useful book and I highly recommend it to anyone who has published or is working on publishing a book. It will make a big difference to you and your book's success.

I've had 30 books published over the past 25 years by numerous publishers (see www.boomerbookseries or Amazon.com or Amazon Kindle or Google Othniel Seiden) and with all my experience this book has taught me lots of new tricks of the trade I intend using from now on. I've learned through the years that though my publishers have always promoted my books and me the best promotion comes form my own efforts. This book has given me GREAT new ideas and ammunition to get that job done.
