Good Practice,
This review is from: Accents and Rebounds (Paperback)
This is the second of George Lawrence Stone's Books, and again it's all about technique.Page after page of accented eighth notes with different sticking patterns may be intimindating at first, but if you actually take the time to play through each exercise 20 times without stopping, you will realize there's a mastermind behind every beat. The exercises are designed to work the "Accented note to unaccented rebound stroke" and "Unaccented note to accented rebound stroke" transitions, but they also teach you how to play Moeller grip without ever mentioning it. It's simply impossible to get these up to speed without incorporating some sort of Moeller aspects to your playing. All in all, a great technique book for advanced drummers.
