My friend loaned me her copy of this. It was weathered and tattered (well used) but I thought it would be full of thoughts I already have heard before. But it wasn't. It had a lot of new things to help me that I had never pondered before. I liked it so much, I ordered my own copy to weather, underline and tatter.

This booklet was given to a friend of mine in AA. She told me the book really helped her and cheered her up. On a whim,I looked up the book on Amazon and bought a gently used copy for myself. It is simple reading with a gentle little elf that makes you smile and makes you think. It reminds us that the simple things are good and acceptance isn't as hard as we make it out to be.
