One of the greatest books I've read.,

I've studied hundreds of books on the spiritual way of life for the past thirty five plus years, and I rank this, and the other books by Lee Coit, at the top of my list.I live the principles of this book, and everything it says is true. My life is soooo much better because of it. I notice quite often that a very poor review is given to books of this nature by those who, I suspect to be "Born Again Christians"; and who think God will reward them for discouraging others from reading the Truth. I'm talking about the "Born Again Christians" who look down on anyone who might think differently than they do. "If it ain't in the bible, it has to be ungodly". These same people crusified Jesus and are now trying to crusify his works. Read this fine book and make up your own mind. Lee Coit is a kind, giving man who goes way out of his way to help others find their own paths.

This book is well-written, simple and to the point. It falls into the self-help catagory without cultism. Coit has written in a similar vein in his other books.
Some will criticize the book as being too "New Age." But most will find the pleasant prose, useful insights into human nature and ourselves helpful. It's a quick read, seems simple enough but you will find yourself thinking about Coit's logic at the least expected moments. Many people don't believe they have a right to be happy -- they do. This book may help them get there.

This is the third book I've read by Lee Coit. I loved his book Listening, and found "Accepting" to be every bit as helpful. I believe it will appeal to seekers on all levels. The writing style is direct and and basic. As I don't have as much time to read as I would like, so these characteristics are very important to me. My copy is full of margin notes, underlines and highlights. This will allow me to go back and re-visit key points that I trust will aid me in shifting my consciousness. I consider this book (and Listening) to be life companions.
