2.0 out of 5 stars Not what I ordered, November 23, 1999
This review is from: Access 2000 Developer's Black Book (Paperback)
Great looking book but lacking in content. I ordered an Acess 2000 developers handbook not a complete guide to database development. Although I found the earlier chapters interesting There was very little to help me with specific issues on Access 2000 Development. In fact most of the Access specific chapters can be found in the online help and MSDN.

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed, September 24, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Access 2000 Developer's Black Book (Paperback)
I was disappointed with this book. It appeared to have a lot of content when I looked at it initially. However, when I started to get into the details, it did not deliver. There are other Access 2000 developement books out there that are much more useful.

1.0 out of 5 stars The title of the book is misleading., December 31, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Access 2000 Developer's Black Book (Paperback)
The book does not FOCUS on Access 2000. It focuses on databases in general. Great book if you want to learn the concept of database construction and managment. Not so good if you want to know about Access 2K specifically.
