I prefer the longer narrative, etc. in the orginal version by John Kaufeld, but find this to be a handy companion. Personally, I would recommend that anyone who has to work with Access 2002 do so under extreme duress, as it is NOT a friendly program.
Fortunately the for Dummies series provides light-hearted, humorous and user friendly guides to even such monsters as Access. So if you are stuck with Access 2002 - I highly recommend both this and the full-length guide (and a lot of patience). Good luck!
