5.0 out of 5 stars Access Anything: I Can Do It! --- A Must Read, May 23, 2007
This review is from: Access Anything: I Can Do That! - Adventuring with Disabilities (Paperback)
I'm lucky....I don't have any physical disabilites other than those most of us 55 year olds have. So why did I read this book? It caught my attention...and now I want to say it's a 'must read' for those with or without disabilities. It is extremely insightful, with tons of useful information for those with physical limitations to reference as they strive to get out and about. It is an uplifting and encouraging read--the individuals' stories are quite intriguing---and, true!

Congratulations to Craig and Andrea Kennedy for their successful endeavors to open many doors to the out-of-doors which had previously seemed closed to the physically limited. I'm looking forward to their future books.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great book for living life to its fullest, May 21, 2007
This review is from: Access Anything: I Can Do That! - Adventuring with Disabilities (Paperback)
Craig and Andrea Jehn Kennedy have produced the first encyclopedic reference book for people with disabilities. The information alone on available resources and how to access them is invaluable. Their enthusiasm is evident and contagious and they succeed in convincing readers that anything is indeed possible. But it is much more than that. This is a life-changing book for everyone. It challenges concepts of what a disabled person is and can or cannot do. It is humbling, surprising and exciting.Craig and Andrea and the extraordinary persons they interviewed have dug deep to bare their souls and let us share what it takes to face and overcome adversity and every day reach the peak of personal achievement. This is a must have book for all those able-bodied people young and old,[ASIN:059329314 The G-Connection: Harness Gravity and Reverse Aging (paperback)] who find it hard to stay active and motivated. It's a guide to getting out there and enjoying life!
